Book made of 25 reproductions of pages of “Les Vieux Hôtels de Paris”, albums published in Paris by F. Contet between 1912 and 1939.

The original books are part of the collection of the public library of the Centre Pompidou (BPI). Ghost remains at Kandinsky library of the Centre Pompidou, within the same building.

"Ghost" in french - "fantôme" - is also a term used within libraries for a special card, containing the name of the person who borrowed a book, that replaces the book on the shelve while it is absent.

Letter of gratitude from  Bernard Blistène, director of the Centre Pompidou,

for the donation of "Ghost"  to the collection of the museum.
